The Sisks and the Behnkes went on a Behnke-Sisk outing yesterday to the Botanic Gardens in Fort Worth… a beautiful way to celebrate the Feast of St. Joseph.

As these pictures may show you, I learned an important lesson yesterday: Don’t put sunscreen on your kid’s eyes when your kid rubs her eyes when she’s tired. The photos don’t quite show just how red Molly’s eyes were, but it didn’t look comfortable for my little one. I’m still learning how to be a dad.

The wives deep in thought (and wearing very similar outfits [they didn't even plan it!]):

Dami showed off his mad walking/running/balance skills.

Dami tried out an assortment of glass to protect him from the Sun’s bright rays.

It was an awesome day spent with awesome friends. I love the Botanic Gardens – if any of y’all want some pro bono family pictures taken there, let us know, we’re trying to build our portfolio (they don’t have to be taken at the Botanic Gardens, of course, anywhere bright or pretty will do).
