The pictures aren’t polished, but they’re something.
The Sisks and the Behnkes went on a Behnke-Sisk outing yesterday to the Botanic Gardens in Fort Worth… a beautiful way to celebrate the Feast of St. Joseph.
As these pictures may show you, I learned an important lesson yesterday: Don’t put sunscreen on your kid’s eyes when your kid rubs her eyes when she’s tired. The photos don’t quite show just how red Molly’s eyes were, but it didn’t look comfortable for my little one. I’m still learning how to be a dad.

It was an awesome day spent with awesome friends. I love the Botanic Gardens – if any of y’all want some pro bono family pictures taken there, let us know, we’re trying to build our portfolio (they don’t have to be taken at the Botanic Gardens, of course, anywhere bright or pretty will do).
Mel and I just got back from Austin where we celebrated Mel’s Grandpa’s 80th birthday. We woke up ridiculously early so Mel and Mo took a nap… Mo woke up first so I thought I’d take the chance to take some photos of my darling daughter.
Mo’s getting good at attacking me while taking pictures. Little does she know that Jesus was watching her the whole time.
… and here she is just playing with her favorite toys: socks.
I’ve been wanting to experiment with open-space pics for a while and I took this opportunity to do so. Here are the few I think turned out pretty well.
Anywho, there’s semi-monthly photoblog update. I hope to do more soon. Summer’s coming up and I’m sure all sorts of big events will need to be photographed.

MoRo was crawling around this morning and I started snapping pictures. Here’s my fave of the morning – MoRo vs. the Sheepopotamus. The sheepopotamus lost because Mo’s sheer cuteness overtook him.
